1. TOSS feat. DJ Maphorisa, Uncool MC, Cuba Beats, Tyler ICU & Sbu YDN – Mjolo (Part 2)

Every good artistry needs a sequel and this track is definitely did not disappoint.

2. Louzio – Mannequin

This record is masterfully made in that, while the production and lead vocals are so calm that you can just vibe to it, the drums and the backup vocals will have you stomping your feet to the rhythm.

3. Gradur, Ninho, Josman, Youssoupha, Kalash Criminel & Damso – FREE CONGO

A must have on your playlist as a daily reminder. The message is clear. #FreeCongo

4. Stepz – Whistle

This latest offering from Stepz will have you pridefully shoulder bopping to a flute-dominated HipHop track.

5. Fad Lan – Where I’m from (Intro)

I’m just discovering it Fad Lan’s album he dropped in November and although he’s got some bangers such as “Misa Misa”, the intro track has got me in a chokehold.

6. Ryan De La Cruz – Oyo Nini

The intro has a very traditional West African sound and as a Ghanaian writer, it tugged at my heart strings. The vocals have a very nostalgic vibe, very early 2000s. A fascinating track from start to finish

7. Mckay – Melanin

It’s very fascinating to see modern artist dive back into the early eras of music and embrace that sound that bring the young music lovers in us. A very refreshing track from Mckay.

8. LAGOS IN PARIS – Mali Spirit

This is a beautiful track. The keys, the harmonizing vocals, the drums the bass halfway through the music are just well placed/produced elements, all contributing into making up this masterpiece of a record.

9. 310babii & James Brown – bad

If you are player in need of a good pregame track before you hit the club, this one is definitely for you.
