Each week, The iMullar staff rounds up the songs we cannot stop playing in The Weekly, and we’re calling all lovers of music to enjoy them with us. This week we have Kelvin Mo, TOBi, Juls, Titi Owusu, Simi, Akon, Marince Omario, Afro B, Franglish and Castro making up our list for the ten songs you need in your life in no special order available on Apple Music.
1. Kelvin Mo – “Only You” (Prod. by EddieBeatz)
Kelvin Mo’s recent single, “Only You” contains feel-good lyrics over melodies that display a rousing showcase of Kelvin Mo’s rich, vocal abilities. The track gets better with each repeated since its addictive vibes could comfortably have you listening for hours. It can easily become your go-to romantic soundtrack; enjoy the satisfying tune here.
2. TOBi – “Holiday” (Prod. by Mario Luciano)
A year after the release of his brilliant album, “Still”, Nigerian-Canadian sensation, TOBi, gave his fans a special treat for those sticking with him on his musical journey. He released an extended version of “Still” called, “Still +” that he described as, “a letter to his younger self”. “Still +” includes new songs, remixes, and dope features that TOBi released to end his phenomenal “Still” chapter with. 3. Juls & Jah Cure – “Wishes” (Prod. by Juls)
“Happy Place”, Juls’ new EP is a project to get lost in. As per usual, Juls flawlessly crafted a project with a wide selection of sounds that will grasp your attention from its initial chord to its final melody. We appreciate all the songs on the project, but can’t help to proclaim “Wishes” as one of our favourites. Enjoy it with us.
4. Titi Owusu feat. Moelogo – “Pray for Me” (Prod. by Jayso)
Titi Owusu’s recent single, “Pray for Me” featuring Moelogo is the perfect blend of Gospel, Afropop, and R&B vibes. The song’s harmonies came together as such a sweet symphony that celebrates unconditional love. Check it out here.
5. Simi – “Duduke” (Prod. by Oscar)
The first time you listen to Simi’s new single, “Duduke” will have you feening to fall in love. The short duration of the track will also have you utilizing the repeat button because it is a captivating tune. The visuals are also breath-taking; view it here.
6. Akon & Wizkid – “Escape”
Both Akon and Wizkid can be regarded as music legends who have worked diligently to broadcast the talent of the Motherland to the entire world. Their collaboration on “Escape” is sensational; it’s everything you need to hear this week.
7. Marince Omario – “Nshor Ke” (Prod. by WaveBeats)
Marince Omario’s recent project, “Obiltey” is currently making waves for its authentic, finely-calibrated vibes, and we are here to join in on the praise. From start to finish, the EP is a stunner to listen to. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for new, beautifully-crafted music to listen to.
8. Afro B & Konshens – “Vibrate” (Prod. by Stadic & Jonny Blaze)
It is impossible to stay still once this song comes on. Afro B’s banger, “Vibrate” with Konshens is guaranteed to spark your waist from performing the illest whine as soon as the beat reaches your ears. Go ahead and vibrate.
9. Franglish & DJ Erise – “Teco”

10.Castro feat. Kofi Kinaata & Baby Jet – “Odo Pa” (Prod. by Kaywa)
“Odo Pa” was released seven years ago, yet it still hits every time you listen to it. Castro did wonders on this track with Kofi Kinaata and Baby Jet, and it will always be celebrated as a classic. Castro’s memory was celebrated this past week by the observation of his birthday on the 1st of May and indulging in the music he wholesomely created for us was the perfect way to honour his memory.
