Here are some of the best releases you may have missed this week and don’t forget who put you on these sounds. Stay safe.

Jean Feier –  Very Soft Interlude

Week after week, Jean Feier gives us new songs to add to our playlist and this week is no exception, maybe you don’t know Jean Feier, get to know her in her new song ‘very soft interlude’ it’s as soft as you can imagine but there’s so much she has to say in the song and you need to check it out.

Day on the track – Blessings

On ‘Blessings’, Day talks about the abundance of blessings that’s on him, how he’s worked hard to be where he is and how he’s continuing to work harder to become better and that no weapon formed against him can ever prosper, can the church shout Amen.

Boye “The Genius” Featuring Skillz 8figure & Oladapo – On Di Low

“On Di Low” is a dancehall-inspired Afrobeats song, made with the intention of getting people on the dance floor, and getting them to let go and let loose. The song employs a reggaeton drum rhythm and Latin-influenced instruments such as guitars and percussions.

Skillz 8Figure and Nigerian singer Oladapo dish out sensual melodies over the infectious Caribbean backdrop produced by the talented Genius himself, altogether creating a short but sweet package of sonic bliss you’ll have no choice but to love.

A.I – Prayer

Ayisi talks to us about the effect of prayer in his new song ‘Prayer’, he talks about how prayer has saved him so many times, looking at the things that happen all around the world it’s not by our might that we are able to go on with our daily lives, others do not have that opportunity to live freely so if there’s anything you have to do, he’s urging you to go on your knees, pray and give thanks to God.

Twitch – Spirit

It’s Twitch on the track and he takes us to another level on ‘spirit’, “no matter what, they can’t touch my spirit”, there are so many things that can’t be expressed by just saying them, music makes it easier and Twitch understands this better that’s why he’s put all his emotions, pain and everything he is going through in this song. Stream ‘spirit’ and share in Twitch’s emotions.

King Promise featuring Cina Soul – Ojorley remix

Ga music is so beautiful we must admit, Cina Soul released ‘Ojorley’ a song about a cheating husband in 2018, 2 years down the line and we have a remix with her fellow Ga brother King Promise. In King Promise’s verse, he sings as the man in question and apologizes for his behaviour (cheating). The melodies and vocals that these two have blessed us with in this song are so amazing and we love it.

Twiddle featuring Supa Gaeta – Fly With Me

Afriyie Freeman, popularly known as Twiddle features Supa Gaeta on his first single of 2020. Twiddle and Supa Gaeta talks about how they intend to treat their lovers, things that interest them and other things in “Fly With Me“ with production credits to David Acekeyz, mixed and mastered by Supa Gaeta. This is one to enjoy.

King Joey – Silent

King joey releases his next single after HMU which featured  Ghanaian rapper  Sizz The Truth. This is song titled  “Silent” features FJace & Jaleel Thomas, two young rappers gradually making waves with their music and rap style and they talk about how eluding the chase for money can be and the fact that it even though money is important it is not everything. The song is produced by Carl Keegan, King Joey and his fellow rapper’s flows glide effortlessly to create this masterpiece giving it a melodious rap feel with a modern trap flow.

EL – Azonto Gaza

EL is currently in a comfortable lead in the bring back azonto agenda, in his new song ‘Azonto Gaza’, EL brags a little about himself, how he’s been doing azonto since, how he’s held the bounce in his own way and some other things we clearly don’t understand but we love the bounce so let’s jam to it.

Bryan Lee featuring Maali RK & Bobby EMA – Spaceship

‘Spaceship’ is a unique supersonic sound that seeks to blend elements of pop and soul in a creative way. BryanLee collaborates with his basement crew for this vibe leading the way with a vibey open with Bobby EMA taking off on the chorus, Maali RK steps up with toned-down verses of his own to reflect the pop elements of the song, Bobby shows dynamism with verses of his own. Overall the song is meant for the radio head and would leave you bobbing your head while marvelling at the level of creativity. SPACESHIP was produced by BryanLee.

Magnom – Takeover

In his new song “Take Over”, Magnom quiets the critics and establishes his prowess as a double threat. On the single, Magnom sounds a war-cry to all who attempt to step on his toes and rain on his parade, the beat is a signature Magnom-Esque; speckled with heavy 808s, sub-bass and kicks accompanied by a blend of orchestral instruments that blend together to form a holistically epic sound. In the lyrics, he states that this is his time and brushes aside his adversaries; perfectly matching his persona on the song to the aggression in the beat. “Take Over” is further enriched with a catchy hook reverberating with the word “kuzo”; a plural conjugation of “come” in Hausa which the artiste uses to taunt naysayers. Depending on where you stand, there may or not be some controversial lines in the song, however, the point remains that Magnom the Producer is back in all his glory.

Manifest – No Long Talk

No Long Talk addresses some issues that have been happening in recent times, Manifest takes time to lay down certain things and puts some bare facts in his new song for people to understand his stand and his opinion when it comes to things in general and in the music industry. No need for long talks, listen to “no long talk” by Manifest.

“There’s light at the end of the tunnel” is a popular saying we all know, no matter the situation you find yourself, tough times, dark times, hard and difficult times, all these won’t last forever, the sun always comes out in the morning. Re Decay and his friends make it clearer in the song “Sun In The Morning”, enjoy.
