Skepta made a triumphant return to the London Fashion Week stage with his second runway show for MAINS. The British rapper and Grime legend, known for his boundary-pushing style, teamed up with Chief designer; Mikey Pearce and graphic artist Johnson Orchid to curate a collegiate-inspired collection that was equal parts nostalgia and streetwear edge.
Held at 80 Vincent Square, the show transformed the venue into a vibrant MAINS University campus. Complete with sticker-stamped lockers and university flags, the atmosphere was electric as models strutted down the cement flooring in a series of limited-edition pieces.
Skepta’s signature oversized silhouettes were on full display, paired with sheer button-downs, leather wrestling shorts, and MAINS-branded neckties. The collection also featured American classics like embroidered bomber jackets and USA flag sweater vests, elevated with bold graphics and playful details.
Leopard and camouflage prints added a touch of wildness to the range, while accessories like colour-blocked school bags, leather gloves, and floral wreath-printed caps completed the look. And to top it off, Skepta debuted his highly anticipated MAINS x Kickers collaboration, featuring classic leather boots in a variety of eye-catching colours.
The show was a resounding success, a testament to Skepta’s ability to blend high fashion with streetwear sensibilities.
