● Bryan The Mensah  – Detour

There are so many uncertainties and indecisiveness in this life, which is perfectly okay. The best part is realizing that you were on the wrong path, making a DETOUR, and starting all over again. Bryan The Mensah is doing just that as he brings us a 5-track tape titled “Detour”. With songs that speak of God’s protection, love, heartbreak, emotions, and feelings, Bryan takes us on this musical journey as he explores new paths in life.

● Khaid  – Emotions

I think I’ve said this way too many times that when the boys sing, you have to put it on repeat, especially when it’s an expression of emotions, vulnerability, and talking about love with no boundaries. Khaid is definitely in his EMOTIONS with this 6-track EP; the Afrobeats sounds, the laid down and upbeat production suits his soft vocals very well. He covers themes covering love, life, feelings, being a hopeless romantic, people, and the evils of this world.

● Tay Iwar  – Don’t Lie/See It Through

Tay Iwar got on the colors show and serenaded us with his new single, “Don’t Lie/See It Through”. Relationship issues are a big thing, you either pay attention to it or pretend like it doesn’t exist. Once you choose the latter, you’re in for a bad ride and you’ll definitely regret it. Don’t Lie talks about the everyday relationship problems that people encounter while See It Through talks about fighting through whatever problems relationships come with and dealing with them as lovers,  as well as over powering them. Side note: There’s no way you can ignore this song because Tay Iwar’s voice will have you stuck on it and you’ll definitely enjoy it.

● Runda  – Damaged ft Dai Verse

A lot of people are damaged but they are out there looking for real love, which doesn’t make sense but that’s a story for another day. Runda and Dai Verse have admitted that they are both damaged in their new song “Damaged” but there’s a part of them that’s real and ready to explore the paths of love. “I’m damaged but I try to keep up”. I don’t know how this relationship is going to work but I guess we will have to give it a chance and see what comes out of it.

● Johnny Drille – Spending

“I believe in love but I also believe in spending plenty money for the one I love”. No truer words have ever been said, and as Davido said “Love is sweet oo when money enter love is sweeter”. I don’t think I’m supposed to go on with trying to explain what this song means, you get the drill already. All Johnny Drille is saying in “Spending” is that, if you love something you must be willing to spend heavily on that thing and I can’t help but agree 100 percent with him.

● Kofi Mole – Come Over

Kofi Mole is on a different route with this new single; not too far from the typical Kofi Mole but a little different from what you’ll usually hear him do. The song, titled “Come Over” is a fast-tempo song with low but audible lyrics and a dance routine that will be loud in your head. This song will be perfect for a Saturday morning HIIT training, cardio workout, or aerobics, I think we should try it out. Listen up Come Closer by tapping on the link below.

● Camidoh, Ms Lafamilia, Vybz Kartel, Dj Lara Fraser – Taximan

I’ve experienced so many musical shocks but a Camidoh-Vybz Kartel-Miss Lafamilia collab is something I didn’t see coming but this is a bop. If you’ve ever wondered what an Afrobeats/dancehall song would sound like, then you have your answer in “Taximan”. Stream and enjoy.

● Idahams  – God Bless Africa

When I first saw the title of this song, I was expecting something about patriotism, democracy, politics and all the other happenings but nope. Idahams said God has blessed Africa with natural resources which we bless him for all the time but another thing we need to bless him for, is the beautiful African women. So, the next time you go on your knees and pray to God, bless him for African women.

● Mista Myles – Body remix featuring Shatta Wale

In Mista Myles’ own words, “Expressing love through intimacy is the purest form of love known to man. You can tell how much someone loves and respects you from how they touch you. ‘Body’ is a song I wrote to express that very feeling.” The addition of Shatta Wale, with his unparalleled artistry and signature style, adds some flavor to ‘Body’s remix. It’s exactly as you’d expect: a mesmerizing musical performance from the two artists, taking the remix to new heights.

“Body” remix is available on all major streaming platforms.
