● Black Sherif – Take Care Of Yourself, Blacko

In a time when self-love, taking care of one‘s self, and mental health have become important topics of discussion everywhere in the world, Black Sherif has taken the mantle to speak on self-love, self-care, and staying miles ahead of what society has to say. In the 2-pack tape which consists of “Yaya ” and “Simmer Down”, Blacko sings about dealing with societal pressures, taking proper care of himself and his brothers, and finding ways to live above the noise. If this is something you might be interested in, which I know you will, check out the tape by clicking on the link below.

● Nektunez, Jeremih, Young Jonn – Antisocial

If you listen to this song to the end for the first time, you’ll definitely go back, start it again and check the artists very well because Jeremih on a love song is something we’re used to, but on an Amapiano-themed song, that’s a whole different level. Let’s not get into Young John’s verse, too good. The message in the lyrics, is clearly understood and clearly relatable but the vibes that come with it, are unmatched. Check the song out and put it on repeat.

Love song but make it with a banging beat so people can enjoy and dance to it, that’s what ‘Amina’ by Djay is. The beat is hip but the lyrics are about love, feelings, and emotions. I love it. It’s the weekend, almost, and so if you’re looking for that song that will give you energy and ginger you into the weekend, this is the best one.

● Jaido P – Gbeff

The streets have a new anthem, or should I say we have a new anthem for the streets. Whichever way you see it, Jaido P’s Gbeff is that song that looks like it will be banging on the streets, clubs, and pubs everywhere. If you listen to it and don’t feel the same way then I am sorry but you have to listen to it again.

● Bubunae – Happy Days

Bubunaé has once again returned with his latest release, a bubbly and feel-good song titled ‘Happy Days’ that shines with encouragement and speaks of happy days to come. This song is a follow-up to his recently released song ‘Free,’ which was also an uplifting pop-styled song with a message of self-love and embracing one’s authentic self. As an eclectic music artist, Bubunaé does not shy away from exploring different genres of music with his positive message. And the retro-styled, “Happy Days,” is proof of that.

● Lifesize Teddy – Lifesize Teddy

Mavins’ new signee Lifesize Teddy has debuted her career with a new EP, “Lifesize Teddy”. The 5-track EP showcases her versatility and prowess as both a singer and rapper. In an industry where female rappers are not that common, Lifestyle Teddy is off to a good start and we can only hope it gets better and better. From what I have heard on this new project, it’s about to get bigger and harder and hopefully, she can give the male rappers a run for their money.

● Blaq Jerzee & Sofiya Nzau – Oroboto

Blaq Jerzee’s sef-produced Oroboto which features Sofiya Nzau from Kenya is an Amapiano-produced song and inasmuch much as I do not understand the lyrics of the song because of the language, I must admit that the beat and Sofiya’s lovely voice makes it worth listening to it and I can bet on that.
