On Rotation: Songs you need in your life this week

Every week, the iMullar staff round up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Straffitti – Rich Girl

I love this track. Rich Girl certainly starts off strong. The beat on this song is 101% a vibe. This song gives me real nostalgic vibes, I can’t necessarily put my finger on why. It is somewhat giving 2000’s summer vibes, roof down, and shades on.

2. For my baby – Beekay, Angelika, DanDizzy

A beautiful love song. Beekay absolutely kills this track with his impeccable vocals, DanDizzy’s flow, not to mention Angelika’s beautiful verse to add. To be perfectly honest, there is not much to say. You need to listen to this track. A beautiful track from Beekay’s most recent project, 7th Crush.

3. PhoxyL – My Birthday

A sentimental track from PhoxyL on the vibes he expects on his birthday. We all know how important birthdays are, and this is definitely a track to get you ready to step out on your special day. PhoxyL does not want anyone to kill his vibe on his special day, and I am sure you can agree.

4. Money&More – Rafaello, MILLS

Next up. This song is crazy. If you love drill, then this one is definitely for you. I predict that both artists are due to make waves globally; they both brought their own unique sound and seamlessly birthed Money&More. I suggest you listen to this track now.

5. Alomo Blues – Freddie Gambini

I love this track, it is super unique. Freddie Gambini has a sound that I have never heard before. ‘Alomo Blues’ is a perfect representation of Freddie’s talent and arguably the greatness we will likely see from him in the future.

6. Big Energy – LADIPOE

The energy we are all on this year. The beat, the vocals, and the message shared by LADIPOE makes this one a personal favourite. I am sure you already know who LADIPOE is from his well-known track ‘Feeling’. I suggest you listen to this new track because the vibes are definitely right.

7. Matter – Showboyc, Tife Jay

Another love song that is bound to get you in your feelings. The vocals on this track are beautiful. I must say this song caught me off guard as I did not know what to expect, but by the end, I can confirm I was whining my waist.

8. Pusana – Crate Classics, Tres

This one is for the Afrobeats lovers. This song is something else. I am a sucker for track with a good beat and ‘Pusana’ seems to be that track today. I had to turn the volume up on this one. This track is due to take over at the parties this summer. I suggest you get listening!

9. Greatness – Kwoli Black

If you love Garage or Drum and Bass then, you are bound to love this track. This took me back to early 2000’s raving days. This track is bound to take you on a nostalgic journey. Well, it really depends on what year you were born. Get listening and tell us what you think.

10. Something – Gyakie

She is back, and this new track ‘Something’ is honestly something else. I expected no less from Gyakie when I heard that she had dropped a new track. This song is effortlessly beautiful. Get into it.
