1. BURUKLYN BOYZ – Catalyst
This song is brazy! Yes, that’s right brazy. If you do not already know or listen to BURUKLYN BOYZ, I suggest you get into it. They are definitely bringing something new, and if you love drill, then ‘Catalyst’ is for you! I promise this song will not disappoint.
2. Notorious B.I.G ft. Ty Dolla $ign, Bella Alubo – G.O.A.T
A song that took me by surprise, I was not anticipating this collaboration, but I cannot lie; I am here for it. I am not a fan of slow-jams, but this one got me. Bella Alubo’s vocals set the tone of this single. It is such a beautiful song. Not to mention Notorious B.I.G and Ty Dolla $ign… Need I say more? I suggest you get listening.
3. Capella Grey, Nija – Confujawn
Another slow jam! I must say the slow jams that are being released recently are special. This collaboration is a match made in heaven. I cannot lie. This single is effortlessly good. Both artists have their own sound, and this track showcases how they beautifully merge together.
4. Magixx featuring Ayra Starr – Love Don’t Cost A Dime (Re-Up)
A love song that is bound to get you in your feelings. Magixx wastes no time getting into his impeccable vocals to begin this track. And as expected, Ayra Starr did not play when it came to her verse. I expected no less from this single, both Magixx and Ayra Starr are outstanding vocalists and suggest you get into this single asap.
5. Dai Verse – Your Body (Acoustic)
Another one that caught me off guard, Dai Verse, is an artist to keep on your radar as he has a unique sound that is bound to catch your attention. ‘Your Body’ is a beautiful song, but the acoustic takes it to another level. I suggest you listen to both versions; to start listen to the Acoustic below.
6. Paris Bryant, KiDi – Slide
If you have not listened to this already, I suggest you do it ASAP. This song is giving sunshine and cocktails, a hit that is bound to be on repeat this summer.
7. Kendrick Lamar featuring Blxst and Amanda Reifer – Die Hard
If you have not already listened to this album in full, I do not know what to say! I suggest you get into Kendrick’s new album ASAP, as there are multiple gems. Die hard is a personal favourite. Take a listen and let us know your thoughts!
8. Wendy Shay – Survivor
Wendy’s songs tend to have a deep message, and Survivor arguably does. We have learnt a lot about the artist throughout her career, and she has given another track arguably sharing sentiments about her own life and journey.
9. L.A.X – Waist Drop
I am sure you already know L.A.X, and I can promise that this song will not disappoint. This song is bound to get your waist moving. I guess that is the purpose of this single. In less than 10 seconds of this song, I promise you, you will be whining your waist.
10. Simi – Naked Wire
Another beautiful love song to add to your slow jams playlist for those quiet nights. Simi has a very unique sound which is bound to make waves across the globe. Simi’s ‘Naked Wire’ is currently a personal favourite which I cannot get enough of.
