2. Fave – Baby Riddim

The Gen Z era has produced a vast list of prospects, and they keep Coming up, the latest is Nigeria’s 20-year-old Fave, whose versatility has drawn ears to her sound, her break out single “Baby Riddim” is slowly making waves and we can’t wait to see her full potential.

3. Soa Mattrix & DJ Maphorisa featuring Simmy & Kabza De Small – Ayi Ringi 

The fun part of Amapiano is that it goes with literally everything, from mumbled words to soulful voice, it embraces every element, and on Ayi Ringi, Maphorisa who is also a pioneer of the sounds spreads his influence on the song with soothing vocals from Simmy.

4. Mayokun featuring Victony – Holy father 

The Mayor of Lagos is back in the office with his second album, and the album’s brightest moments is with Nigerian Rookie Victony, whose undertone vocals floats alongside Mayorkun’s command, it’s currently the number 1 song on Nigeria’s Top 100 charts for Apple Music.

5. La Meme Gang –  Gye Gye meso

After a two-year hiatus, the Ghanaian collective are back with two singles, and “Gyegye Meso” is almost like a continuation of their 2018 smash hit reveal, produced by Quick Sox, the remaining four members seek love on a chill beat.

6. Yaw Tog – Sei Mu

The Ghanaian rapper who bagged hip-hop song of the year at the VGMA’s is back with a banger, the song’s announcement video went viral with a dance and the official song is out now.

7. Young Stunna featuring Kabza de small – Adiwele 

Amapiano’s reach is still navigating its sound all over the continent, and a new practice that allows DJ’s to show off their dance moves whines turning tables, it’s aided the genre to push forward, one of the successes of it all is uncle Waffle’s set, which saw her breaking off to Young Stunna’s “Adiwele” which features Amapiano king Kabza de small.

8. Amaarae x Kali Uchis featuring Moliy – SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY REMIX

Ghana’s rockstar, who is currently on tour is enjoying the benefits of a song going viral on TikTok, Sad gurlz love money’s remix rejuvenated the song which was released last year, and with the help of Kali Uchis, the remix sits at no.1 on the Shazam global charts & no.1 on Spotify’s Global 50. 

9. Ayra starr- Fashion Killer 

Also from the Gen Z portal & Mavin’s roaster, the teenager is boasting of her era’s lifestyle and culture, pouring it all in her songs, “Fashion killer” runs us through her l trials & tribulations.

10. Jay Bhad & Skyface SDW – Stand Firm.

Jay Bhad & Skyface SDW on an Asakaa beat preached the ghetto gospel on hustle and paper making. ‘Stand Firm’ talks about living life and pursuing your ambitions while having the patience that it will work out. Stay motivated.
