  1. WSTRN and Fireboy DML – Be My Guest 

In a collaboration I never knew I needed, WSTRN join forces with the Nigerian hitmaker to cook up a gentle summer sizzler. With calm bars from Louis Rei, Haile sings the infectious hook in and vocals from “ladies’ man” Akelle, Fireboy DML drops a fire verse to take the track to the next level.

  1. Marzi – Where I Go

Marzi brings his signature style to his latest single ‘Where I Go’. The lyrics of which fit right in with the lover boy season. With the most wholesome visuals, we see a cute date play out, perfectly mirroring the vibe of the song.

  1. Mizzle featuring Oxlade – Smile For Me 

Taken from Mizzle’s debut EP, In the Dark, the Nigerian singer and songwriter deliver this light and gentle single. Accompanied by one of our favorite vocalists, the sweet accompanying melodies of none other than Oxlade gently grace the track.

  1. Teebee – Iji Ego 

The Canadian-based Nigerian artist first came across my radar with the release of his debut EP, West African Love Story. With a sound best described as afro-fusion, the equally addictive single ‘’Iji Ego’ means I’m on the lookout for Teebee’s next drop.

  1. Solo B – Personal

Solo B for me is situated right at the border of where afrobeats meets R&B, with both elements in perfect balance, his latest offering ‘Personal’ is great for a late-night motive  With Saionthebeat on production, contagious rhythms are guaranteed.

  1. WES7AR 22 – Alcoholic 

Armed with distinctive raw vocals, and a melodious hook interlaced with Yoruba. From the afrobeat rhythms, this truly intoxicating track has strong roots placing it in West Africa, the lyrics further reinforcing the cultural feel. ‘Alcoholic’ is an elite party riddim.

  1. Jaywillz – Medicine

A slower, romantic groove, Jaywillz serenades his fiancé on this ode to the beauty of love. The serial hitmaker, Naughty Beats on production provides the wave that just keeps this track on repeat. The entire Love or the Word project in fact is on rotation.

  1. Robinio Mundibu – Nzete 

Not a track for the stiff-waisted, rising solo artist Robinio Mundibu transports us to Kinshasa’s latest music movement. With visuals that match the euphoric vibes present on the song, the Congolese rumba rhythms exude joy. 

  1. Aymos and Focalistic – Jemeni 

For the past year, we’ve seen the global takeover of this emerging scene from South Africa. With the recent release of his project, Yimi Lo, the Prince of amapiano explores new pockets in the sound. Teaming up with SA producer Focalistic, the intro sets the tone for an excellent amapiano project. 

  1. Moliy- Deja Vu

After the success of Moliy’s impressive Wondergirl EP, the Ghanaian songstress blesses us with her signature captivating vocals in her latest single ‘Deja Vu’. With relatable storytelling, she details her love life with an infectious hook guaranteed to echo in your mind.
