How do you feel about texting?
COVID-19 came with its own set of challenges for everyone around the world. Remember when normalcy was put on hold and a new order was introduced? An order which saw everyone home-based and communicating more with love ones via all sort of social media platforms. Some say this was the break humanity needed to restrategize and the perfect test for relationships. Relationships saw the toughest stage ever when texting and video calls were the only means of communication.

iMullar team had a tete a tete with Supa Gaeta in a short conversation to ask him more about his new song, the collaboration and what’s next!
J: What is the central theme of “Text Me”?
SG: The song was made during the lockdown, the whole idea was the situation for lovers who couldn’t spend quality time with their lovers and had to settle for text messages.
J: What message are you sending to the listener?
SG: To assure listeners that even during such a pandemic, your love life doesn’t come to a halt, there are other ways to connect with your lover without necessarily having to see them.
J: How did the collaboration come about?
SG: Well I made freestyle of it, just playing with words and as soon as Oxlade heard it he just jumped on it.
J: What was it like working with Oxlade?
SG: It was very exciting and humbling at the same time because of how he related with me, we never met but our conversation over the phone was so calm and he kept telling me how good the song was, he was so down to earth and humble.
J: Is this song an opener for more features outside Ghana?
SG: Yeah it definitely is. This is the lead single from my upcoming EP “Supa Szn” and I have more features coming from my brothers and sisters outside Ghana.
