new sounds 26

This list will be updated every day with new sounds released this week till Sunday, keep tabs.

King Joey ft Copta – “Into the Dark”

King Joey’s “in the dark” is a hip hop track which features Copta, quite different from all the regular songs you’ll listen to this week, this song is pleasing to the ear. Listen via the link below. The production of the song by Szn can be described as cold, dark and gritty with heavy 808s. It has the feeling of a raging anthem and is sure to be a classic because of its distinct sound and feel.

Broni – “orijinal”

Broni’s “Orijinal” is another song we are jamming to this December, no one ever goes wrong with Afrobeats and we love the vibes Broni is giving us in this song, it’s certainly original.

Jean Feier – “Last Christmas”

Christmas season is here with us and Jean Feier’s “Last Christmas” is the perfect song for Christmas Eve, this is definitely not our last Christmas, we hope to enjoy many more Christmas with you all.

Sheldon the turn up ft Darko Vibes – “Made In Ghana”

Camidoh ft Medikal – “All For You”

A new song is here for the lovers, “All for you” is Camidoh’s new song and he featured Medikal on this new one and just like the title, you know exactly what to expect, a beautiful song from Camidoh, all for you.

Kizz Daniel – “Jaho”

In as much as we love to dance and jam to great music, we also love songs that have great messages in them and “Jaho” by Kizz Daniel is one of those songs you can listen to and be motivated and still jam to. Kizz Daniel still has no bad songs.

Broda Shaggi ft Asake – “Star”

Still, on songs that give us inspiration and motivation, Nigerian comedian Broda Shaggi comes through with “Star” for your listening pleasure, enjoy.

Shado Chris – “Je n’ai Pas Volé”

“Je n’ai Pas Volé by Shado Chris is a translates to English as “I did not take/steal”, language is definitely not a barrier when it comes to music, we love good music and whatever mood you’re in, this song is the right song to make it better.

 Bully – “Foreign”

Bully’s new song “Foreign” is a perfect one for the year of return, giving us diaspora vibes, intertwining Afro-soul and Afro dancehall with her friends, Kwame Baw, Rapata, Bra Heyson and Lesdo. We asked her why the title “Foreign” and why they decided to release it this year and this is what she had to say “So basically we recorded this song a year ago very unrelated to anything under the group name ‘InoBore’. Which consists of rappers, singers, producers and band members, quite a large musical unit. So we had this song and were thinking Yoh it’s been a whole ass year why not just release PLUS it’s the year of return, not a bad combo. Thought it through and decided that yes it’s gotta drop. So there we go; we birthed ‘FOREIGN’.

Exo ft Spacely – “Elevate”

Exo wants to “elevate” and so do we, I believe everyone does, no one wishes to stay on the ground forever. Check out elevate by Exo on SoundCloud via the link below, the song features Spacely.

Sarkodie – “Black Love

Is Sarkodie ending the music calendar for us? We won’t be mad if he does because the “black album” is everything you can imagine and think of, with 5 singles released ahead of the official album, the 15 song-album features a list of great artists, King Promise was featured on “Anadwo and Can’t Let You Go”, Rudeboy on Lucky, Mr Eazi on “Do You”, Maleek Berry on “Feelings” and the list goes on and on. Black Love is not the regular rap/hip hop type of album, Sarkodie is on an afrobeat and hi-life ride with this album and we can’t help but Stan. Black Love is a beautiful album, it’s going to be hard to choose a favourite but we hope you enjoy it as much as we do,

Rotimi – “The Beauty of Becoming

Rotimi is still capturing our hearts with his music, his new EP, “The Beauty of Becoming”.
