Each week, we accumulate a list of newly released songs that we think you should hear because we’ve replaced music with oxygen. Here are some of the best releases you may have missed this week and Don’t forget who put you on these sounds.

Strongman – ‘Mmaa’

Strongman took to ‘Mmaa’ which means ‘Women’ to describe how valuable women are, in all case to men with all the attributes visible to men. He speaks about how women are motivators in a way which many people will disagree. Take some time off to stream ‘Mmaa’ produced by TubhaniMuzik and see if you agree with the controversial young rapper.

Sarkodie x Mugeez (R2Bees) – ‘Regular’

‘Regular’ had two of Ghana’s greats talking flex. Like any other rapper in his prime, Sarkodie talks about how he rose from zero to getting everything on the regular. Kobby Keita Featuring RJZ – ‘Bo Me KA’

On atypical one-step two-step rhythm, Kobby Keita and the master relationship strategist, RJZ exploit women’s indecisiveness when it comes to relationships and what they want. The track has that kick which will definitely get you doing Daddy Lumba’s ‘Aben wo ha’ dance.

Camidoh Featuring Kelvynboy – ‘The Best’

Confidence is the new currency to getting what you want and this is evident in Camidoh track-assisted by Kelvynboy, ‘The Best’. They both bragged about their love relationships and how best they treat their women and you know how Kelvynboy be putting it down on his singles. Hey, love is in the air so just in case you need some type of relationship confidence, The Best by Camidoh and Kelvynboy is your new fuel.

Simi – ‘Selense’

Grab your handkerchieves because Simi came to the party with a highlife-live band type song filled with drums and her lovely voice. Selense is a feel-good song which advocates hard-work and time management. If you’re not a Simi fan, it’s not too late to jump on the party wagon.

Dessy Frydays Featuring Odartei – Focus

Dessy echoes the need to focus on yourself first in whatever you do on his new single ‘Focus’ track-assisted by Odartei. Self-love has become a big deal for people in this generation filled with so many insecurities. “Love yours”.

Maj Dizzles – ‘Are You Down’

Are you down? Are you down for me? tell me where your head is? are questions asked to put one’s wandering mind to rest. Maj on ‘Are you down’ seeks clarifications and confirmation on a question I am sure half you reader asked often because mixed feelings and signals put you in all types of emotions which is unhealthy. Let’s travel on this emotional path with Maj on ‘Are You Down’.

Pappy Ko-jo – ‘Thomas Pompoyeyaw’

Pappy Kojo channels his Fante vocal energy into this new song, ‘Thomas Pompoyeyaw’ which started as just his social media handle. The combination of Pappy Kojo and Guilty Beatz seems to be a perfect match as seen on Guilty Beatz’s hit single “Akwaaba”. Pappy Kojo gave the beat a chance to breathe in between his verses which is one thing that makes this tune a possible candidate for the official Christmas jam.

Epidemix Featuring O’bkay & Offei – ‘Falling’ 

Epidemix features Offei and Mtn Hitmaker’s O’bkay on his new single ‘Falling’. You’ll definitely fall in love with this song as “hard Guys” turn soaker for Love.

Phronesis – ‘Odo Yewu’

Phronesis executed the simple task of blending Afrobeats and Dancehall. ‘Odo Yewu’ means ‘love of my life’ and we hope you find your Odo Yewu.

Sarz & WurlD – I LOVE GIRLS WITH TROBUL

The combination of Sarz and WurlD is what Africans need right now. We need something that would make us cry and love all over again. This year has been filled with a lot of vigorous feet moving tunes but nonetheless, ‘I LOVE GIRLS WITH TROBUL’ is not far from feet moving.

Sarz cooked up rhythms that brought out the best in WurlD that’s if you’re familiar with his 2019 project ‘Love is Contagious’. Love is Contagious got us to show off our partners, appreciate their contagiousness, drown them in passion with Gbemisoke, display our vulnerability on paranoid and more.

On ‘I LOVE GIRLS WITH TROBUL’, the blue-haired tactician took us on yet another love journey with his soft-spoken words with passion, spitting the reality of love. The bitter-sweet neverending milky way of pain, WurlD seems to be closing of the year with a reality check which of course we all needed.

Magnom & Moor Sound – ‘NOW EP’

Magnom teams up with his long-time partner Moor Sound, record producer and sound engineer at RGG studio on their joint project, ‘NOW’. Moor Sound this year has played an instrumental role in producing some good projects namely, ‘Here for a Good Time a long time” by Kiddblack, “Times we need each other” with Questo and Kwame Ysu and more.

‘NOW’ is a 6 track Extended Play by Magnom and Moor Sound which features Twitch, Quamina MP, Gasmilla, Ko-jo Cue, Lil Shaker, Ankwa, King Joey and Copta. The tape has been tailored to fit our everyday life. Wakey Bakey gets you faded, Ghetto Lovin is a typical street love affair, Jorr Mi speaks about how everyone needs God’s guidance, Shake it Fast is a typical Magnom type of music, yup it’s wiggle something time, Akweley looks at appreciating women for who they are and the love they exhibit and lastly, ‘Money rules the world’ is self-explanatory.
