Riot Radio’s EP “Crop Top Florence” has officially dropped, and it’s nothing short of a sonic revolution. They describe this EP as a story, a movement, and a declaration that Ghana’s underground Hip-Hop scene is ready to step into the global spotlight.
Born from sleepless nights, raw energy, and a relentless drive to push boundaries, “Crop Top Florence” is Riot Radio’s love letter to alternative hip-hop. They gathered some of the most electrifying artists making waves in Accra’s scene, paired them with producers who understand the vision, and let creativity take the wheel. The result is a 6-track masterpiece with one profound interlude, showcasing lyrical depth, genre-bending production, and an unapologetic spirit with verses from Cyril Shey, Jaleel Thomas, Konney, Sossgirl, T1mmy, and Micky Wrecks and production from Mi6 and Faygoo.

From heavy-hitting trap beats to hypnotic melodies, “Crop Top Florence” captures the essence of a generation that refuses to be boxed in. The project is bold, real, and exactly what the culture, and the music creative community need right now.
This is only Volume 1. Riot Radio is taking this movement beyond streaming- they are bringing it to live shows, collaborations, and even a special remix project from our in-house DJ, designed to bridge Ghana’s local creative scene with the global industry. They are currently calling on the culture curators, the playlist gatekeepers, and the believers in real artistry to get behind “Crop Top Florence” and help them transport and export their sound into the global market.
