The Telecel Ghana Music Awards is an important night in the Ghanaian music scene. This year, live from the Grand Arena, this year’s show had vibrant performances, red carpet moments, and as expected multiple award wins. The 27th Edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards came to an end with Black Sherif emerging the latest winner of the highly coveted “Artiste Of The Year” Award.
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards are one of the most coveted prizes for Ghanaian artists and as such, many work throughout the year in preview to try and earn the status and recognition of being a TGMA award winner. A lot of Ghanaian acts get upward career trajectories capitalising on an award win in any category. This year, the winners got the crowning achievement for their unrelenting dedication and hard work they put in their craft and thus were duly celebrated.
