On Rotation: Songs You Need In Your Life This Week

Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Dadju & Tayc – Le Contrat

If you couldn’t reach me this past couple of days, then my phone might have been on DND with this record on repeat. Dadju and Tayc’s collaborative project is full of gems that you keep discovering every time you listen to it.

2. Victor AD – Ebube {Odeshi}

Listen to this song every time you are about to step out and grind, to amp yourself to overcome anything that life throws at you.

3. CowBoii & ShuanMusiq – Bayephi

The flow and vibes on this record will have bopping your head in any setting: At home, at a brunch or in the club.

4. BlaQRhythm, Maline Aura – Amashumi

An Afrotech beat, Maline Aura’s entrancing vocals and minimal lyrics; the perfect song to start a rave set this December.

5. Shoday & Billionboi – Kolorado

One of the most emotional choruses I’ve heard all year. Guaranteed to get you in your feels.

6. DSL ft Larruso – Happy

Heard this song performed at a recent event and I can’t seem get enough of it. The song was already viral but the performance amplified my fondness for it.

7. Offgaard, Drizilik – Party Every-Day

Life is worth living to the fullest everyday (YOLO) and Offgaard reiterates it on this Amapiano-themed banger.

8. Tasha Oda Ft Kellyna – Collé Serré

Tasha Oda’s vocals on this record makes me want to fall in love with someone everyday. This year has been the year for couples and real lovers, and Tasha wants to cap it off on a high note.

9. Hevi – My Rider

My introduction to Hevi’s music and my interest has definitely piqued. Her vocals, melodies and subtle harmonies on this record will make you want to get into her discography. An artist to put on your radar.

10. WOODBLOCK DJS – Skuta Baba

This record had me give the meanest stink face throughout. Incredible vibrant production with all artists flowing fluidly and skating on the beat. Can’t wait to hear this record outside and stomp my feet to it with everyone in the club.
