On Rotation: Songs You Need In Your Life This Week

Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Minz, Tekno & 255 – diallo

This song is what it feels like when bad boys fall in love with someone. All sense of reason and self-awareness flies out of the window when the right person comes along.

2. A-Reece & Kid Kaydence – Imposters

The vibes are immaculate on this track. HipHop has a great year around the World and it’s refreshing to also have an A-Reece song and project in 2024.

3. Ssaru Ft. Trio Mio – Maintain

This is your reminder to tap into the Kenyan HipHop scene and listen to more female MCs. This track will have you bopping your shoulders the entire duration of the song.

4. Kenah, Iyanya – Wombolo

A party starter. A song you play in the car as pregame to set the mood on your way to the club.

5. Jaido P & Bad Boy Timz – Yemi My Lover

This season is truly the season for lovers. From childhood friends to lovers, high school sweethearts or serendipitous romance, this song is for any and all type of romance stories.

6. Jay Jody ft. Blxckie – OLE

Right from the start, this track will have you in a stank face and stomping your feet. Another good track for the HipHop heads.

7. Rvssian, Skillibeng, Nigy Boy – JEEZUM

This is the kind of songs that are so good, that you wish you were in the studio with them during the recording sessions.

8. Syemca – Room 104

The kaleidoscope of colors in the visuals are so vibrant and attention grabbing, making you pay attention to the music in the background. SYEMCA’s rich vocals perfectly sync with the mid tempo production, and with the naughtiness of the lyrics it’s relatively difficult to not press the loop button.

9. Sharleene – Keep Coming Back

The song is a story of lovers in toxic relationships navigating the pain and joy of love.

10. Annatoria – Go Tell It On The Mountain

As a proud African, it’s impossible for me to not appreciate sounds that encapsulate the rich artistry and culture of the continent. The melodies and harmonies are perfectly blended and gives you a warm and out of body experience with each listen.

On Rotation is your weekly dose of musical geniuses to your library. Our editors update this playlist frequently, so if you see something you like, go ahead and add it to your library.
