On Rotation: Songs You Need In Your Life This Week

Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Oxlade – Arabambi

Anytime you hear that falsetto, you know you’re about to experience a great track. On this track and as always, Oxlade doesn’t disappoint. The lover boys are going to have a great summer with this one.

2. FirstKlaz & Joeboy – Gen Z Faaji

The drums and trumpets at the beginning of the track is a great intro to this fuji-themed track. FirstKlaz channels the old school melodies on a new school production and with a smooth verse from Joeboy, produces a great track that intrigues you with the first listen.

3. Odeal – Onome

A summer rizz anthem for singles looking to find their partners. Odeal pines over his lover, telling them how they make him feel and why he is so obsessed with them.

4. Mayorkun – Under The Canopy

Mayorkun reminisces about his humble beginnings and compares it to his current situation whilst showing appreciation to his maker for his protection and how far he’s brought him. Let this track serve as your Monday Motivation.

5. Dayonthetrack & Essumann – Pray

Dayonthetrack provides a soulful motivational anthem for everyone going out of their way to hustle, pursue their dreams and make it against all odds. A track we strongly recommend you listen at least once a day.

6. Kay Bryn – Pack & Go

This summer, we’re dancing all day while saying goodbye to all toxic and unappreciative lovers with this single.

7. Tripcy – Who Are You?

On this Yung D3mz and Nektunez produced track, Tripcy gives a candid description of Accra’s nightlife scene; the parties, the drugs, sex and more. Give it a listen!

8. Masauti ft Nadia Mukami – Kesho

Some tracks that represent the sounds of the East have the propensity to transport the listener across borders, draw them in, letting them experience the beauty and richness of the Eastern African culture without leaving the comfort of their homes. This track is one them.

9. Seley – Island

An anthem for all the ladies and gentlemen who want to just experience the softness and the luxuries that this life has to offer. For some of us, we will manifesting with this track all summer.

10. Khalifina & Niq-El Angelo – Holy Jealousy

With thick-thumping drums and a mid-tempo production, Khalifina slides casually on the beat creating one groove of a track.

On Rotation is your weekly dose of musical geniuses to your library. Our editors update this playlist frequently, so if you see something you like, go ahead and add it to your library.
