On Rotation: Songs You Need In Your Life This Week

Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Yelquis – 2024

A track that will keep you bopping your head from the beginning to the end. Yelquis vocals, the melodies and harmonies from the backup vocalists in the background and the mellow production was synced to perfection.

2. Sofie Elezaj – I Do

This is the kind of track I believe I’d swaying and waving my flashlights, and singing along at a concert. A very beautiful song.

3. Tomi Owó ft PsychoYP – Your Matter

A collaboration we didn’t know we needed. The synergy between the two artist is perfect. From Tomi’s vocals to PsychoYP’s flow, this is one song you know will stay on your playlists for a very long time.

4. Kaestyle & Omah Lay – My Dealer

I get the feeling that a lot of introverts and homebodies will singing this song all summer long. I mean for those of us who don’t want to physically move from home, our dealer will make other arrangements for us. *Wink; Wink;*

5. Amaeya – Too Much

I believe we’ve all been here before. The time in our lives where we demand more or even a little minimum effort from our lovers. A time where all we need from them is just their time. So if you can find the words to say it, just send them this song.

6. Maya Amolo – Let It Flow

With a perfect blend of R&B, Amapiano and disco, Maya embraces the the freedom and letting go and living completely in the moment.

7. CKay ft. Olamide – Wahala

The first 15 seconds of the song before even the vocals are introduced is enough to make you fall in love with this song. CKay can’t do no wrong with slow jams and just like “Trumpets”, Olamide delivers on this collaboration as well.

8. Yaw Blvck – True or False

An amazing groove of a song. This track will keep you on your feet or at least have your shoulders moving from start to end.

9. Nnashe – Temptation

Anytime I play this song, I envision myself at the beach with the wind in my face, sand beneath my feet and my lover beside me. Recommended for all your mellow and just vibes playlist.

10. Sio – Autumn

If you ever feel the need to feed and heal your soul, just put this song on repeat, shut out the world and dance.
