On Rotation: Songs You Need In Your Life This Week

Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.

1. Papa Atey – Was it Just Lust?

The track puts the listener in the shoes of an escort and her client exploring their past to bring about a beautiful origin story.

2. ájofe – Voodoo

This song locks you into a bouncy groove, as its infectious beats and lyrics sweep listeners into an irresistible musical journey.

3. Yimeeka – Iro

Yimeeka comes through an Amapiano-themed track in “Iro”. With a vibrant production, mellow vocals, and melodies, I have a feeling this is one of the tracks to make waves this summer.

4. Boutross & OGD NSG – Blocks Hot

When East Africa meets from the United Kingdom. Boutross lets loose and delivers a unique flow on an Afroswing production. OGD never disappoints with his choruses.

5. KQ The Artist, Malai & Johnson IP – Spiritual Healer

Have you ever enjoyed a song so much that no matter the runtime, it still seems short? This is one of those. The percussions, the bass lines, the vocals, and the synergy between the artists; truly a masterpiece.

6. Tee Kae – My Last

The vibrant beat brings this track to life. Tee Kae’s vocals evoke a lot of soul and emotions in this track like no other.

7. Ghettoboy x AratheJay – 360

The Highlife riddims at the beginning of the track are a good indication to the listener that they are about to enjoy a beautiful sonic journey. Arathejay’s soulful vocals is just the cherry on top.

8. Ikemdi – Game Time

This is one of the songs for those kinds of playlists. IYKYK 😉

9. Chris Cynus & David Izz – Make Am

An everyday motivational song. The song is a plea to one’s Maker for continuous blessings and protection as they navigate through life in hopes of success.

10. Ninety – Reset

A good one from Ninety. This song was recommended to me by a friend and I’ve had it on repeat all day. I believe you’ll enjoy it too.
