Every week, the iMullar staff rounds up ten songs we cannot stop listening to, thus forming the weekly list of songs known as “On Rotation.” You heard these recommendations here first. From the UK to Nigeria, each track from this week’s selections is guaranteed to be a vibe.
1. Bryan The Mensah – Deliver
A song that you can play every morning to keep your hustle alive. BRYAN THE MENSAH came through with a solid one.
2. Willy With D’Juice – Onipa
Willy with D’Juice with the most important reminder; to trust only yourself and your dream.
3. Lloyiso – You’re So You
The first five seconds of the great production was enough to get me hooked. The vocals was just the icing on the cake. A beautiful song.
4. Kah-Lo – Play
This song got me feeling like I’m at a iMullar Sound System with my childhood crush dancing by my side with no care in the world.
5. Ink Boy ft Sarkodie – For Days
Another great collaboration between Ink boy and Sarkodie, this time with Ink Boy as the lead artist. A solid dance track laced with a great flow from Sarkodie as always.
6. Nandy – Follow
Nandy comes through with another beautiful track that makes me want to take my duolingo lessons seriously so I can sing word for word.
7. Vanilla, Larruso – Trouble
Vanilla decided to go all out this year with amazing songs and honestly we’re not complaining. An amazing dancehall song topped off with a great verse from Larruso.
8. Muthaka ft Bensoul – Secret Lover
Playboys and girls, it’s our time to shine. Muthaka and Bensoul give us a great anthem that we can sing to our “secret” partners and make them feel special.
9. Zilla Oaks – Bank Alert
Hard-hitting and smooth, Zilla Oaks gives us a solid one that I guarantee we will all be singing whilst we wait for those credit alerts.
10. Lioness – Funk
A sultry, spacy and catchy track from Lioness. A song that even our timid ladies can use to communicate with their lovers exactly what they want or expect from them.
