The dancehall prospect is back with his second Ep, and the stand-out song features his Godfather & mentor; Stonebwoy. Produced by street beats, “lowkey” is just a mix of a gen Z trademark and that of a millennial, all building up a balanced dancehall song.
- R2bees Ft Gyakie – Need your love
The Ghanaian group are back with their fourth album, and it features quite a number of the new age artistes, oh “Need your Love”, the duo pair with Gyakie on this love-inspired tune, whose writing and vocals fits perfectly on the song, with Mugeez just being Mugeez
- 1da Banton – No Wahala
Looking like another song that could be blessed by TikTok’s hands, No wahala is slowly turning into an international hit. Released off his Ep months ago, the song somehow resurfaced via a challenge on TikTok & it’s gradually making its way to the top.
- Kwesi Arthur featuring Teni – Celebrate
Ground up’s Frontman is back on road, with a celebratory record that features Teni, produced by MOG beats, the Afrobeats tunes see the rapper activating his singing mode.
- Kiddblack featuring Black Sherrif – Assignment
La Meme’s lyricist takes the solo road this time on a drill drive with a heavy drill production by Fortune DJ. Rising star Black sherif whose catchy hooks sparks an anthem in the song Assignment makes it easy for kiddblack to lay his lines about loyalty, mob ties (la Meme Gang) and day 1’s all in the song.
- Odunsi – Half a Tab
One of the brightest acts when it comes to cooking up alternative “Alte” music, the engine is roaring, and it is inspired by an 80’s song that defines Odunsi’s diversity.
- Bryan The Mensah – Be Like Me
The rapper whose album has been the talk of the internet for some time now didn’t disappoint here. On “Be like me”, his production is buoyant, with verses that track his journey to greatness.
- Ch’cco & Mellow & Sleazy- Nkao Tempela
With Amapiano still on a sound run all across the globe, new songs keep popping up to fuel the run, and this time it’s Ch’cco’s “Nkao Tempela” leading it, it’s your typical amapiano song, something to keep your body moving.
- Ruger – Dior
The Nigerian Afro-fusion singer released “Dior” alongside his second Ep “The second wave”. Dubbed as the hit song off the EP, it clearly features the stronghold of Ruger, which blew him off earlier in the year.
- L.A.X – Sempe
The Nigerian Afro-fusion singer breathes his love stories into the song with his traditional Jargons. “Sempe” is off the extended version of his project “ZaZa vibes with features new songs.
