1. E.L.- “Baba Dey” (Prod. by Pee on the Beat)

It’s officially WAVs Season! E.L. announced this past week that his heavily anticipated album is finally on the way and we cannot be more excited. As we wait for it to be released on the 19th of March, let’s enjoy the visual to his latest single, “Baba Dey”. It’s a heavenly jam.

2. Sauti Sol feat. India.Arie – “My Everything”

Sauti Sol’s “My Everything” is a wonderful mix of African instrumentation and American soul music as it features the amazing India.Arie. Its vibrant visuals are hot off the press, which you can view here.

3. Kumi – “Closer”

Ms. Kumi’s new single “Closer” sounds pleasing to the ears, as all components of the song came together so beautifully. It’s one of our stellar recommendations for the week. Check it out here.

4. Ric Hassani – “Thunder Fire You”

“The Prince I Became”, Ric Hassani’s second studio album exudes confidence that expresses a royal who knows his worth. He’s the most powerful he has ever been, and it’s evident on his new album. Just take “Thunder Fire You” for example, it’s simply a delight to listen to.

5. Salatiel featuring Sauti Sol & Locko- “Say I Do”

“Say I Do” by Cameroonian star, Salatiel and Kenyan band Sauti Sol carries soulful vibes that we adore. It certainly deserves a spot on all of our playlists; you can find it on all streaming platforms.

6. Eddy Kenzo & Martha Mukisa – “Sango”

Eddy Kenzo and Martha Mukisa deserve a prolonged standing ovation for the masterpiece that they put together with their track, “Sango”. It is simply out of this world.

7. Burna Boy & John Legend featuring Nile Rodgers- “Coming 2 America”

Despite how you may feel about the movie, I think we can all agree that the soundtrack to the new “Coming 2 America” movie is A1. From Davido’s cameo performing “Assurance” to Burna Boy and John Legend collaborating on a track named after the movie with Nile Rodgers, the film did not disappoint music wise. Check out the John Legend and Burna Boy track here.

8. Prince Kaybee featuring Nokwazi – “Ebabayo” (Prod. by Prince Kaybee)

South African disc jockey Prince Kaybee gave his all on his latest album, “The 4th Republic”, an iteration of the Afrohouse genre. There are many standout tracks on the project, including “Ebabayo” featuring  South African songstress, Nokwazi. For the best listening experience, be sure to listen with quality speakers/ earphones.

9. Terri  – “Come Around” (Prod. by P. Prime)

We’re advocates for good music, and Terri’s latest single, “Come Around” speaks to it for us. Enjoy its vibes here.

10. Yaw Tog, Stormzy & Kwesi Arthur – “Sore Remix” (Prod. Chris Rich)

Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur join Yaw Tog on the remix to his drill banger “Sore” that stormed the streets last year and won the hearts of many. The remix is having the same effect on people as the talent displayed on the track is massive! Catch the visuals to “Sore Remix” here.
