Each week, we accumulate a list of newly released songs that we think you should hear because music is the only universal language of peace and love. Here are some of the best releases you may have missed this week and don’t forget who put you on these sounds.

4Runna featuring LT – Street Fighter
4Runna is an indie hip hop artist based in Port Harcourt Nigeria, his first official song is titled “Street Fighter” and it features L.T. “Street Fighter” speaks on how much he is ready to push himself to be a superstar and not a street fighter, and how every listener, in the same manner, can push themselves to reach higher heights.
Jon Foli – Marry Joana
Jon Foli in his new single “Marry Joana” talks to us about marijuana. Curiosity led us to ask what inspired the song and here’s what he had to say, “for me, the song was just another clever play on words I wrote last year and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it until my homeboy suggested that I used marijuana to nurse a pain in my left leg after an accident I was involved in. Endiz featuring Ara & Wes7ar22 – Honey
“Honey” is an Afrobeats song fused with Dancehall and an R&B feel. The song talks about admiring women and the power they possess. The song features Ara & Wes7ar22 of Soundcrazyco.
MsBanks – Novikov
Ms Banks returns with a new rap song titled “Novikov”, Ms Banks had to come back to remind us who the queen is and what rap looks like. In “Novikov” she talks about her level in the music game, how she wants to treat her man and how she wants to be treated and that is exactly what Queens do.
Hbee – Totori
After an impressive start earlier this year with his debut EP ‘Wickedest Vibe’, Hbee has continued his strive for dominance with a new record titled “Totori.” “Totori” introduces a darker, more urgent edge to Hbee’s sound, amidst all the problems of the fatal pandemic, there are still artistes going the extra mile, putting in work to make sure their fans are entertained and one of these artistes is Hbee.
Agbnotnice featuring Big Daddy Kave – 2 Kars
Agbnotnice’s new release titled “2 Kars” features Big Daddy Kave. The trap record was engineered by Bola BMH. The song is inspired by a love of cars, surviving transportation in Nigeria, and a notable shout out to Vin Diesel the main character in the Fast and Furious franchise.
Oshunda featuring Volta – All
In the song, “All” produced by Oshunda, Volta talks about the challenges of leaving the past behind and moving on to better things. Though, she’s living lavish and has found new love, she still questions her decisions and goes back and forth trying to find closure.
Kelvin Mo – 024
Kelvin Mo takes us all the way to Jamaica with his new dancehall themed song “024”. Summer is certainly not over for Mo as this jam will easily pass for a summer party banger, this one is for the ladies, as usual, it’s time to de-stress, break our backs and whine to “024.”
Jaay featuring Moses – Monalisa
It seems the Afro-fusion artiste Jaay isn’t backing down with the bangers, having released a 5 track EP titled (BYND THE ARCH) in April, with 2 other hit singles – “I can’t even blame you” and “Body” following suit, the song “Monalisa” is sure to get you on your feet vibing all day long. “Monalisa” is available on all streaming platforms.
Khalifina featuring Black Sherrif – Dangerous
Khalifina hopped on the drill wave and gave us some heat, she calls it “Dangerous” and just like the title, the song goes hard. Inspired by the drill genre and the UK rap style, Khalifina teams up with Black Sherrif on this song, dropping some hard lyrics and showing us just how it is done.
Quamina MP – Change Your Style
In ‘Change Your Style’, Quamina expresses his affection for a lady he just met. In an attempt to win the girl over, he showers praises on her calling her Queen. He taps into the well known phenomenon of women loving pictures and promises to take very befitting pictures of his Queen. Song was inspired by the beat played by MOG.
Manuworldstar featuring Rouge
A week to the release of Manu’s highly anticipated album and he’s added a new single to the list titled “Fire Emoji” and the song features Congolese/ South African rapper, Rogue. Manu comes through with the vocals and allows Rogue to take over the rap, both artists deliver effortlessly, this is definitely worth a couple fire emojis.

Mawcom X & Kuvie – Gift of God
Mawcom and Kuvie’s highly anticipated project “Gift of God” is finally out for the world to have a feel over what these two have been working on for the last two years. According to Mawcom X, the way this project came into being is a gift to him, something so great and precious that he had to share with the world. “The journey here hasn’t been easy, in short, this project saved my life and it’s more than music to me, I pray it does something great for you too”, he added. With features from Spacely, Iye, Kirani Ayat, and BOJ, this project deserves everything good that comes with it.

Tiwa Savage – Celia
Named after her mum, Tiwa Savage’s third studio album “Celia” is a body of work made for the African woman who wants to live the way she wants and do things her way without judgment or prejudice. Tiwa takes us on a journey of love, life, happiness, sorrow, pain and living from the perspective or the point of view of a strong African Woman. For every song, Tiwa sends out a message and the message is delivered perfectly, features from Sam Smith, Naira Marley, Stefflon Don, Dice Allies, Davido, and Hamzaa contributed to making this 13-track body of work close to perfect.

Nasty C – Zulu Man With Some Power
Nasty C goes off on “Zulu Man With Some Power”, that’s a confident way to name an album. Nasty C seems to be on his own level when it comes to hip-hop/rap, the vibes are smooth, the message is delivered and his bars are always on point. On “ZMWSP”, Nasty C raps/sings with some kind of pride, confidence and energy, he certainly knows what he is doing in the rap game and the impact his sounds have on the industry. Von – Uncommercial
Von’s seven-track EP titled “Uncommercial” features talents like Toy Boi, Nobody, and others. Von in an interview with citinewsroom.com said the motive for the EP is to rekindle the fire in him since his previous release in 2018. He further added that “this EP is not to generate any revenue but to entertain listeners and get them ready for the upcoming album.

Patoranking’s “Three” album blends various genres of R&B, dancehall, highlife, afrobeats and reggae talking about issues of love, life, joy and good vibes. The album features the likes of Flavor, Sauti Sol, Tiwa Savage and King Promise on the highlife theme song, “Odo Bra”. E.L – Leaks 3
Ghanaian rapper-singer and record producer, E.L returns with a third installment of his novel series, ”Leaks”. The rapper, who began this new-found musical journey back in June of this year, has wowed fans with his first two installments: ”Leaks 1” and ”Leaks 2”, both being just a month apart. Unlike its predecessors, ”Leaks 3” ships off with 4 songs as opposed to 3 -bagging two features and two solo efforts in the same space. This time around, Lyrical Joe and Worlasi make the cut with a good dose of energy for expectant fans.
