Each week, The iMullar staff rounds up the songs we cannot stop playing in The Weekly, and we’re calling all lovers of music to enjoy them with us. This week we have Adomaa, Twitch, Shane Eagle, Supa Gaeta, Jah Prayzah, Tulenkey, J. Derobie, Shaker, Manny Norté, and Fameye making up our list for the ten songs you need in your life in no special order available on Apple Music.
1. Adomaa – “I Am Tar” (Prod. by Reynolds TheGentleMan)
The magic of dark-skinned women cannot be dulled, and the breath-taking songstress, Adomaa celebrates the beauty that lies deep in these queens on her special track, “I Am Tar”. The video to the song is fresh of the press with a finely-calibrated concept that left us in awe.
2. Ground Up Chale feat. Twitch & DAY OnTheTrack – “Chocolate”
If you catch GroundUp Chale’s “Chale Series”, you witnessed what Twitch and Quamina MP went through to get this video recorded in their last episode. The end result came out amazing, and you can view it out here.
3. Shane Eagle feat. Nasty C- “PARIS” (Prod. by )
South African rapper, Shane Eagle recently released the anime-inspired visuals to his hit song “Paris” with his fellow talented bar spitter, Nasty C. You’re guaranteed to watch it more than once.
4. Supa Gaeta – “Never Again” (Prod. by Yung D3mz)

5. Jah Prayzah – “Hokoyo” (Prod. by Rodney Beatz)
It is amazing to see African artistes embrace their culture in their own unique way. Zimbabwean superstar, Jah Prayzah portrays this perfectly by never holding back from putting his beautiful nation on display with each new song he drops. 6. Tulenkey feat. KelvynBoy & Medikal – “Ghetto Boy” (Prod. by Philip Martin & Console Chroniz)
There is nothing impossible for those who strive for greatness, especially when you bask in the grace of God, and that is the heartwarming message presented on this beautiful track by Tulenkey, KelvynBoy, and Medikal. In addition, Wes7ar22’s notable vocals at the end was the perfect way to end the tune, and we simply cannot get enough of it.
7. J. Derobie – “Back It” (Prod. by Uche B)
J. Derobie defines dancehall and has marked his rightful place in the genre. The energy he displays on “Back It” is infectious, and it includes a brilliant video to complement its vibes. Enjoy it here.
8. Shaker – “Low Battery” (Prod. by Shaker)
The vibrancy of the visuals to Shaker’s “Low Battery” is pleasing to the eyes, and is certainly no surprise to us since he always delivers quality content pertaining to his craft. In addition, the track is also an inspirational banger.
9. Manny Norté, 6LACK, Rema, & Tion Wayne feat. Love Renaissance – “4AM”
When you cross Ghana, Atlanta, Nigeria, and the UK, this extravagant bop is what you get as the end product, and it came together so beautifully. “4AM” has been set as one of our summer bangers for 2020.
10. Fameye feat. Kwesi Arthur – “Long Life” (Prod. by Body Beatz)
Fameye and Kwesi Arthur make a fine collaborative duo, and their link-up on “Long Life” has surely blessed us. We’ve been soaking in the lyrics, and it is surely an appropriate prayer for a time like this. May long life and prosperity continue to be our portions; Amen.
