Each week, The iMullar staff rounds up the songs we cannot stop playing in The Weekly, and we’re calling all lovers of music to enjoy them with us. This week we have NiiQuaye, Chivv, Sauti Sol, Skillz 8Figure, Delis, KiDi, Mr. Eazi, Jean Feier, Kuvie, and Odunsi (The Engine) making up our list for the ten songs you need in your life in no special order available on Apple Music.
1. NiiQuaye feat. T´neeya & Wanlov the Kubulor – “Bebe”
“Atomic Muse”, NiiQuaye´s new EP is a stunner. It contains seven engaging songs that we absolutely love. The 5th track on the EP, “Bebe” with T´neeya and Wanlov the Kubulor completely stood out to us; enjoy it here.
2. Chivv – “Loco” (Prod. by DJ Breezy)
Chivv has a new album out called, “UN4GETTABLE NIGHTS” that we have been enjoying since its release. Our favorite song on the album is “Loco”, produced by our very own DJ Breezy. Check it out here.
3. Sauti Sol – “Insecure”
“Midnight Train” is Sauti Sol´s fourth studio album that is set to be released on the 5th of June. So far, they have given us a sweet taste of the album with the releases of “Disco Matanga”, “Suzanna”, “Brighter Days” and their newest single, “Insecure”; enjoy it here.
4. Skillz 8Figure – “Kolo” (Prod. by Yung D3mz)
Hot off the press is the visuals to Skillz 8Figure´s major jam, “Kolo” that can be found on his heated EP, “Gangsta Luv”. We enjoyed it thoroughly so it would be selfish of us not to put y´all on.
5. Delis feat. Romeo Swag – “Nobody Cares” (Prod. by RudiElorme & A-Swag)
Ghana is home to a plethora of talented hip-hop artistes and Delis is a shining MC that we should definitely keep our eyes on. “Nobody Cares” contains bars after bars that we enjoyed from start to finish.
6. KiDi feat. Adina Thembi – “One Man” (Prod. by Richie Mensah)
KiDi´s new EP, “Blue” contains endless vibes that we are still enjoying. His collab with Adina Thembi on “One Man” was a perfect addition to the project; enjoy it here.
7. Mr. Eazi & Empawa Africa – “I No Go Give Up On You”
A few months ago, Mr. Eazi dropped a teaser of a song we held high anticipation for on the TL. The song titled, “I No Go Give Up On You” has finally been unlocked as the first single on Mr. Eazi´s upcoming EP with Empawa Africa, “One Day You Will Understand” which is set to be released on the 5th of June. As we await the new project, stream “I No Go Give Up On You” here.
8. Jean Feier – “You Are”
Each week, the talented Jean Feier drops a new song for her listeners and we must commend her consistency. We are going to throw it back to one of her previous releases, “You Are” that we believe everyone should be hip to. Be sure to keep up with her weekly releases as well.
9. Kuvie feat. KwakuBs – “Gruvie (Celebrate)” (Prod. by Kuvie)
Today marks two years since Kuvie dropped his phenomenal project, “Gruvie” and we are in a celebratory mood. Be sure to keep streaming “Gruvie” while building anticipation for more quality content from Kuvie.
10. Odunsi (The Engine) feat. Maison2500 – “PDA!”
Two weeks ago, Odunsi released an EP dubbed, “EVERYTHING YOU HEARD IS TRUE” which is a glide between alt-pop, funk, and trap soul. The project is superb, and we cannot wait till it’s safe to go outside again and experience Odunsi live! performing these songs, especially the electric “PDA!”
