TAPES/EP
Stormzy – ‘Heavy is the Head‘
“Heavy is the head that carries the crown”, they didn’t lie when the said that. Stormzy’s new album HITH, his second studio album is a body of work that really defines who Stormzy is, being one of the most powerful voices in grime music, the weight and pressure that comes with fame and the many expectations and responsibilities that befalls him. The 16 track album was supported by singles Own it, Vossi Bop, Crown and Wiley Flow, the album also features Burna Boy and Ed Sheran on “Own It”, Tiana Major9 on “Rainfall”, Yebba on “Don’t forget to Breathe”, H.E.R on “One Second” and Aitch on Pop Boy. Enjoy.
Magnom – We Speed 3
Magnom’s We Speed III depicts two instances, on one side is Magnom’s lovey-dovey persona speaking about romance and love but on the other side, we see Magnom flexing his pen game. From the beat selection and message on each song to his lyrics and delivery, it is clear that he is in beast mode. The tape is sonically beautiful and even though he doesn’t have any production credits for the first time ever on a project that is solely his, he does quite a great job of picking beats. The project has a rare combination of producers: Afrodistrict, Bad Szn, Dred W, Foreign Local, Garvie, Mike Millz, Moor Sound, Nova, Paq and Yung D3mz which is quite the avenger-esq line up of producers. Featured on We Speed III are Ankwa, Bayku, Copta, Kelvyn Boy, Khalifina, Kxng Joey, Pappy Kojo, Slim Drumz, Spacely, Tibu and Yung Pabi. We Speed III s out in all digital stores. Stream it and put a friend on.

Chief Kellz – Beat You Black 1.0
Beat You Black 1.0 is a 3-song pack with no guest appearances, this project features Chief Kellz rhyming with his signature chest heavy vocal register, over ground-shaking 808s and trap-inspired drum arrangements. As the name implies, on this particular pack the artiste wanted to portray a bully persona of the industry in this song, on these records he acts like the Big Guy who will smack anybody who gets in the way of him and his dreams/success.
