Tell us a little about your background
WORLDG3NIUS (often stylized as World Genius) is a Ghanaian apparel brand redefining African fashion and culture. Known for its distinctive designs and compelling storytelling, the brand has built a strong community presence through pop-ups and high-profile collections. Established in 2021, WORLDG3NIUS was birthed by three young Ghanaians with a dream of placing African fashion on the global map through telling stories and its culture to the world on fabric, create a global community full of youthful, creative and highly motivated people with new opportunities in fashion, arts and entrepreneurship as well as documenting their stories and telling them to the world.


At what point in your life did u decide your career path?
Shortly after COVID, we decided to tell the story to the world.
What inspired your brand name?
The idea of everyone being unique in their own way and uniting every singular person all over the globe into one community.
What and who inspired you to choose your career?
Virgil Abloh, Nigo, Smallgod and Free The Youth are early inspirations for this journey.
Details about your work? What does it entail?
As a fashion brand, our everyday work is to keep propagating the message of encouraging people to bring out and push the uniqueness and identity they have through different ranges of clothes, accessories and even social events.

We have collaborated with Ghanaian and foreign brands such as Creatives Connect (2024), 99 PHACES (2025), OUTL8TS (2025), and Asomani (2026).

We advise upcoming fashion players to first research and learn from early pioneers as well as embrace culture and find a way to merge both. There are no rules to the fashion game and as such, they should explore a wide range of projects and markets and eventually they will find their place.
