AfroFuture Ghana 2025 Unveils Electrifying First Wave Lineup and Expansive Cultural Programming

Culture Management Group (CMG), the visionary force behind Africa’s most anticipated cultural events, today announced the full artist lineup and immersive programming for AfroFuture Ghana 2025. The flagship festival returns to Accra’s El Wak Stadium on December 28 & 29, 2025, for a powerful celebration of the continent’s global creative influence.

Headlining the festival is global Afrobeats sensation Asake, along with performances from South Africa’s dynamic duo TxC, and Ghana’s own rising stars Moliy, and King Paluta, alongside dynamic Afrobeats artist, Mavo. The energy will be sustained by an all-star selection of DJs, including DJ Obi & Obi’s House, ADDJ, DJ Loft, and the dynamic duo K-Dawg & EZPass.

This year’s festival is guided by the theme “African Nostalgia,” a concept that reimagines collective memory as a catalyst for the future. It honors the enduring connections through music, art, fashion, and food that bind Africans and the diaspora across generations and borders.

“African Nostalgia is the heartbeat of AfroFuture 2025 – honoring the food, music, fashion, art, and traditions that connect Africans and the diaspora across generations.” says Abdul Karim Abdullah, CEO and Co-Founder, Culture Management Group. “Its memory turned into legacy: a celebration of what shaped us yesterday, and the fuel for building the African Dream of tomorrow.”

Beyond the main stage, AfroFuture 2025 will transform Accra into a hub of cultural exchange with a series of pre- and post-festival events:

Battle of the Jollof Basketball Game | Dec. 27 | Bukom Arena:  A celebrity showdown in collaboration with the Basketball Africa League, fusing sports, entertainment, and community.

Fashion Night Out | Dec. 30 | Nubuke Museum: A curated day-to-night experience showcasing the finest African designers with runway shows, panel discussions, and live performances.

New Year’s Eve Extravaganza with PVO | Dec. 31 | La Palm Royal Beach Hotel: Ring in 2026 at AfroFuture’s official New Year’s Eve party, promising an unforgettable night of music and positive vibes.

“Every AfroFuture Festival is a reminder that the future of Black culture is being written right here, in Africa,” said Akosua Ayim, Director of Operations, Culture Management Group. “Our 2025 edition builds on that vision, bringing together artists, innovators, and dreamers who are shaping the next generation and what’s on the horizon for the continent and the diaspora.”

Powered by Afreximbank and Martell, AfroFuture Ghana 2025 is more than a festival, it’s the year’s essential destination for anyone connected to the pulse of African creativity.
