The Thursday Lates series by Trybe Africa has been home to many art exhibitions in Ghana. The Art initiative hosted Ghanaian multidisciplinary visual artist Kwame Koda, whose works have earned him exhibitions across Europe and the USA, with features in notable publications such as The Art Momentum x ArtxLagos, Kenga Magazine, and GQ South Africa. Kwame Koda is also known for designing Stonebwoy’s “5th Dimension” album cover.
The chilly winds of Osu welcomed all guests to Kukun Cafe at 6pm, and an hour later, the place was packed with creatives and art lovers from all over. “Art & Mind III”, curated by Annabelle Menson leans towards Kwame Koda’s orange-themed pieces mounted in a circular form, allowing attendees to go through them with ease. With music and drinks flowing, Kwame Koda arrived in all orange attire, addressing the crowd before calling it a night.
