Best Nigerian songs of July
A sure display of width, July for the green and white was filled with experimentation sounds. Patoranking’s storytelling on “Abule” is admirable, the likes of Remy Baggins & Ejoya creaking up the beat to a birth of a new sound that caught the likes of MOJO from Chop Life Crew (CLC), PsychoYP with AG, Fireboy DML and Cuppy giving us a taste of what’s to come in August. Here’s our best pick from Nigeria, July in no particular order.

The Afro-Dancehall single “Abule” produced by Telz is the newest street anthem. The single is a mini-documentary that tells the story of Patoranking in Abula Egba.

The Afro Pop Golden boy serves pure vibes on AG Baby track-assisted by Trinidadian singer and songwriter Nailah Blackman. The song expresses freedom and a little bit of lifestyle flex. I’m ready for the project now AG.
8. Reminisce featuring Fireboy DML – Ogaranya
Ogaranya is undoubtedly a high warmer. off his “Vibes & Insha Allah” project, Reminisce recruits Fireboy DML to talk relevance on “Ogaranya.”
9. Kida Kudz featuring Falz and Joey B – Buga
The “Bad The Sound Boy” produced song sees Kida Kudz, Falz and Joey B talking about luxury lifestyle and making fantasies a reality. I wouldn’t advise you about leaving your girl around these bad boys.
10. Black Gypsy Unit featuring Wade & Osil – Gyal
On a starry night with a dark shadowy outdoor relaxed camp setting, Black Gypsy presents ‘Gyal’, a choir band style rendition which features interexchange of melodies by two participants in which they describe their clubhouse adventures. 16. Lekaa featuring Kwesi Arthur & Peruzzi – Kiss and Tell
Lekaa Beats teamed up with Kwesi Arthur and Peruzzi on latest single “Kiss and Tell”. Love language is expressed in various way and the featured are not excited about PDA.
