AratheJay is a soulful artist. His songs and his vocals emanate spirituality. Whenever he sings on a record you have no choice but to listen attentively, soak it in, and feel all the sonic vibrations through your body. He comes again with a new single “Fire” featuring Bella Shmurda from Nigeria. “Fire” is a track that talks about his life journey and career. He speaks about the hassle in his music journey and life in general. AratheJay is one artist who’s constantly in touch with his Celestial being. He resonates and acknowledges his creator in everything that he does so it’s only natural to hear him sing his praises on all records.

In the song he speaks about the jungle that we call life and the creative space. As much as you may have people who want to be in your corner, you don’t get the necessary support that you need. But amidst all this, he makes a humble plea to be his brother and his creator to give him the necessary push to fulfill his life purpose and that is to spread his message of love through his music. He acknowledges that no matter what extenuating circumstances would try to take him off his spiritual journey, and life purpose in delivering masterful healing records to the audience, he knows his Father in Heaven will never let him walk alone. The title is a metaphor to their flaming passion and drive to emerge victorious in any hurdle they may face; be it in life, love or purpose.
In the chorus, “Gimme gimme wings my brother, give me energy Holy Father, somebody pour me holy water, any small thing I don dey Para”, Bella Shmurda echoes AratheJay’s sentiments where he calls upon his brothers and Holy Father for wings to rise above his troubles and insecurities. Another spiritual artist, in his right, Bella Shmurda’s life experiences are felt in his vocals. The sonic vibration that emanates from his vocals on the chorus is enough to send chills to whoever is listening. This song is about navigating life and the creative space while maintaining your singularity, individuality and talents when other factors may seem to stray you from your path and destroy you. Both AratheJay and Bella Shmurda with their unique and distinctive voices blend together in perfect harmony, creating a sonic masterpiece aimed to inspire and uplift their listeners, one note after the other.

“Fire” is one of those records that aims to resonate with the average man. A record that will withstand the test time and be people’s go-to for a motivational anthem.
