Creativity is fragile. It needs to be fed with inspiration and originality to maintain a good balance. It is normal to suffer creative burnout. Here are our recommended steps to recover from creative burnout.
1. Call Your Mother

This means getting support from a trusted person. Voicing your struggle is a significant first step in returning from creative burnout.
2. Road Trip

Change your environment. Look elsewhere for new inspiration. Take a proper break- a few days off into the wilderness where nobody will expect any work from you.
3. Buy New Clothes

Be kind to yourself. Reward yourself for a good job done in the past. Make sure you look good and feel good before you begin any new project.
4. Have Sex

👀 Fun fact: Sex boosts serotonin, which helps improve your mood and fight off depression. Low serotonin can cause you to be unable to create or act on plans and strategies.
5. Post Your Old Work

It’s easy to forget all your past accomplishments and focus on your present challenges. Whenever you feel this way, post your old work reminding yourself and others that, you’re the sh*t.
