Kwesi Arthur featuring Joeboy – Baajo
Christmas is 3 weeks away and this song by Kwesi Arthur and Joeboy will easily qualify as one of the official Christmas bangers. Laying atop a Yung D3mz production, the two artistes sing about what they wish to do to their said lovers in lyrics that are easily relatable to. “Baajo” which translates to “Come and Dance” is the first collaboration from these two musicians, but looking at it, listeners will definitely yearn for more.
Mr Eazi & J Balvin – Lento
Mr Eazi takes us from Nigeria all the way to Columbia as he features Latino music superstar J Balvin on a Caribbean-Afrobeats themed song titled “Lento” meaning “Softly”.
Like J Balvin said in the song, “Mr Eazi, we make it easy”, this statement is pure facts because fusing Afrobeat and Latino sounds has never been this easy; great tune to jam to this weekend.
Odunsi – Fuji 5000
Altè’s golden boy, Odunsi (the engine), after releasing his “everything you heard is true” EP mid this year, has released his newest single “Fuji 5000”. In a 1 minute 58 seconds song produced by 2aab, Odunsi addresses issues of love, life and the state of the Nigerian government.
Stonebwoy featuring Davido – Activate
The unity between Ghana and Nigeria when it comes to music is certainly undefeated. This is evident in the many collaborations that we have had from these two sides, this is further evident in the newest hit by Stonebwoy titled “Activate”. The song which features one of Nigeria’s biggest music acts Davido. The song is accompanied by beautiful visuals directed by Yaw Skyface, do check it out.
