1. E.L featuring Worlasi – “How We De Live”

E.L (LOMI) has committed to giving us monthly projects and it’s the third edition, “Leaks 3” just dropped for us to enjoy. We thoroughly loved, “How We De Live” with Worlasi; take a listen here.

2. Ofori Amponsah featuring King Promise – “Shocker”

Ghanaian Highlife legend, Ofori Amponsahis is set to release an album on the 11th of September dubbed, “Million Dollar”. “Shocker” on the album, featuring King Promise has been unlocked for our listening pleasures; enjoy.

3. Nasty C – “King Shit”

South African dynamic rapper, Nasty C, recently released his latest album, “Zulu Man with Some Power”, which has been described as a project of witty lines between melodic turns and soundscapes of bass”. The album begins with “King Shit”, which according to Siri, was the biggest song in the world this past week. Enjoy it here.

4. Burna Boy featuring Chris Martin – “Monsters You Made”

The visuals to Burna Boy’s, “Monsters You Made” is incredibly powerful and appropriate for the season we are currently living in. We are always here to celebrate authentic music, and it’s quite evident that the African Giant is now Twice as Tall. 

5. Avelino – “Prey”

British rapper of Congolese and Angolan descent, Avelino is known for his “unique tone” and “deep wordplay”, which can be heard on “Prey”, our recent favourite from him. His influence on British Hip-Hop is commendable. 

6. Zuchu – “Tanzania Ya Sasa”

Zuchu, a rising Tanzanian songstress already has a great number of amazing songs under her belt, including her latest release, “Tanzania Ya Sasa”. If you enjoy Reggae music, this song will certainly catch your ear.

7. Franglish feat. Leto & Tiakola – “Biberon”

If we had to recommend one infectious song for y’all to listen to this week, it would be, “Biberon” by Congolese megastar, Franglish featuring Leto and Tiakola. Be prepared to keep it on repeat. 

8. Bisa Kdei feat. Medikal – “Netwerk”

Bisa Kdei is out with a new dance number for your playlists with Medikal called, “Netwerk”. Check it out here.

9. Bucky Raw – “Medicine”

Budding talent can be found all over the Motherland and it must be acknowledged. Liberian rapper and singer, Bucky Raw is amongst the many talented artistes from the Continent who we are here to put y’all on to. Enjoy his single, “Medicine” here.

10. Patoranking featuring King Promise – “Odo Bra”

“Three”, Patoranking’s latest album is described as an exploration of various themes of life, love, and joy with various artistes from all over the continent adding their own flair to the project. On “Odo Bra” with King Promise, High Life is celebrated in such a beautiful manner.
