Twitch 4EVA  – Lost EP

Twitch is the stage name of Prince Andor, the Accra-based singer and songwriter whose debut EP, “Lost” mixes elements of Afrobeats, RnB, and pop to produce a sound he refers to as Coastal Music. “It’s music you can dance to with your beer, with your partner, with a group of friends at the beach, or in the club,” he says. The vocalist impresses throughout the punchy, four-track offering released in conjunction with Ground Up Chale. The multiple ingredients that feed him, contribute in turn to his expansive sound. “Daada”, an instant classic, is a love letter to young people; “Chaskele”, a fearless yearning for closure after a failed romance. “Baby” comes face-to-face with the reality of romantic relationships, while “Distance” sets the scene for Twitch to set up shop and run wild. When asked why he called his first project “Lost”, this is what he had to say,  “I called the album Lost because relationships are a journey. You can get lost on the way. It’s confusing because it dictates itself, and then sometimes we don’t understand how it works. We feel lost, basically.”
