Each week, The iMullar staff rounds up the songs we cannot stop playing in The Weekly, and we’re calling all lovers of music to enjoy them with us. This week we have Efya, Mr Eazi, Bensoul, Nasty C, Kaytime, Whoisakin, Akan, Kofi Mole, Zlatan, and Adri making up our list for the ten songs you need in your life in no special order available on Apple Music.

Mr Eazi and emPawa Africa’s new banger, “Baby, I’m Jealous” is a sweet tune with King Promise’s voice being the perfect icing on the cake. You can catch it on Mr Eazi’s new EP, “One Day You Will Understand” here.

3. Bensoul – “No Kisses”

During the month of April, Kenyan vocalist, Bensoul released acoustic vibe videos weekly on his Youtube channel to help his fans get through quarantine. He recently put all of those songs on an EP, called “Qwarantunes” and it’s a lovely compilation. “No Kisses” is one of our favourites on this collection.

4. Nasty C & T.I – “They Don’t”

This song hits home. It perfectly wraps up everything that’s going on right now and our feelings towards it in four minutes. The song ends by assuring that everything will be alright soon. It’s the perfect song to listen to at this moment.

5. Kaytime featuring Juice & McBriggs- “Subway” (Prod. by Jajii)

8. Kofi Mole featuring Fameye – “Yabre”

Everyone has a story. Many have to hustle to make it and “Yabre” tells of those struggles. Kofi Mole and Fameye tell their personal stories on their heartfelt track; take a listen.

9. Zlatan featuring Papisnoop – “The Matter”

Zlatan has an EP on the way called, “RoadToCDK“ and we’re anticipating its release. The first single on the project has been unlocked and we’ve been enjoying it. Listen to “The Matter” here.

10. Adri – “Tik Tok”

UK-based, Kenyan artiste and Youtuber, Adri just released a new EP, “The African King”. The project consists of five tracks that are engaging and enjoyable. Our favourite is “Tik Tok”, for its electric and catchy vibe.
