July keeps giving us more music surprises, every single week, music acts bless us with amazing music and to be honest! we are not complaining at all. This week is no different as we bring you good music from our new school artistes and new tapes and Extended Plays on new sounds and oh don’t forget who put you on some new new!

Tukenkey – Little Soldiers featuring Spacely

When soldiers are preparing to go to war, they gather together to sing songs to strengthen their morale and better prep them for the battle ahead. Just like soldiers preparing for battle, Tulenkey and his little soldiers have gathered and are preparing for the music battle, hence the chorus of the song ‘Tsooboi, Tsooboi’ which usually is a call to action. Tulenkey features the finesse king Spacely on his track and as he does it all the time, he finessed this too. Tibu – Juju featuring Kofi Mole

Love is beautiful they say, it is okay to fall in love, yes it is okay but sometimes you find yourself in love with someone and you find yourself doing things you will not do on the regular and you just can’t do anything about it, you sometimes act like a “fool” and it’s like you’ve been programmed. Tibu, the delay hitmaker and the Empawa 100 artiste talks about this type of love in his new song, Juju which features Kofi Mole. The song has a high- life vibe and the message in it is loud and clear, we sometimes fall in love so hard that we start to act dumb, Kofi Mole comes through with the rap and made some hardpoints. Sizz the truth believes in real dates. Dates that are not planned, no restrictions just flowing with the vibes, road trips, movie nights, beach hangouts and all of that, that is his definition of a real date with his girl, so if you’re looking for ideas on how to go on a real date with your partner, then you have to listen to this song by Sizz the Truth and learn a couple of things from him.

 

Ypee – Botom featuring Kofi Mole 

Botom in our Ghanaian language means pocket, pocket in this context stands for the amount of money you have (in your pocket). In this life, you need money to do almost everything, Ypee explains the essence of money and it’s importance, he also talks about how things become extremely easy if you have money. He advises us on the need to work extra hard so we have enough money in our pockets since Ypee is a rapper he put Kofi Mole on this song to do the vocals, yes two rap kings can exist and do a song together and that’s exactly what these two have done. Once or more than once, we experience fear as human beings, no matter where you find yourself, one way or the other fear will just come to you invited or not, but your ability to fight or face your fears and get back strong is all that matters. Tamaté is trying to live his life, no bad vibes, no negativity, no lies, all he wants to do is to live with positivity, he tells us more about it in his new song Fears, available on SoundCloud. Lord Paper – Somewhere in North K EP

Amidst all the controversies, rumours and all the things that were said about him and his career, Lord Paper has stayed strong and consistent and has finally released his first EP, he calls it Somewhere in North K. The EP is made up of 10 tracks, he featured amazing artistes on this Ep, he featured RJZ, Medikal, Akhan, Kofi Mole, Joey B, Appietus, Patapaa, he didn’t leave the girls out of this as he put Sister Derby, Sefa, Sister Afia, Enam And Freda Rhymz on the 7th song on the Ep titled what girls want. He released two songs off the tape before the main project came out, Dzigbordi, a beautiful song that talks about tribal differences in relationships and Love no catch you before which features Medikal. The entire EP is amazing, every single song on it has a message and we are proud of Lord Paper as he is of himself. Somewhere in North K is available on all music streaming platforms.

Dieslow – Dead Broke On A Friday 

Jason Simpson also known as Dieslow has released his first album Dead Broke On A Friday. The album addresses the era of deep decadence. The album features Edgartheiyke, Black Stone, Super Squeeze, ASI, Kiddblack, Tony and Risky Melo, Effortless and potent from all angles. Chief Kellz –  Calm Eno Be Tape

Chief Kellz released his hip hop project ‘Calm Eno Be Tape’. The new school artistes are exploring all genres and they cannot be tamed, they are just doing what they love with the music. Chief Kellz pulled a J.Cole with his 9 tracklist album and certainly went full beast mood. ‘Intro’, ‘Issa mood’, ‘my soul’, ‘Gyae’ and ‘long way’ are titles of some of the songs on the tape. If you’re a real hip hop fan you’ll understand and enjoy the tape better but if you’re not a real hip hop fan allow chief Kellz to introduce you to his type of hip hop.

Yung Bazz – Until Next Time 

The hip hop artistes are just showing off this week, flexing on us and just bringing good music. Until Next Time is a 5 track body of work by Yung Bazz, he featured MAJ on flakes and Almighty Trei on Cheating and Better. The Ep is such a vibe that anyone can flow with, Yung Bass might be a hip hop artiste but this EP is such that anyone whether a hardcore hip hop Stan or not can listen and enjoy.
