This week on Blast From The Past, we are kicking it back with some Hip-life classics. Hip-life is defined as the fusion of highlife, hip-hop, and various other sounds originating from Ghana. Hip-life is a distinct genre that originated from the Gold Coast in the early 90’s. This playlist has been curated to celebrate songs within the African Diaspora, which will forever remain in our heart, mind and soul.
